SPIRIT - April 11, 2012 – 5 miles
Walked the first ½ mile. The road was wet and fairly muddy so we did a light trot for 4.5 miles (7 mph). Spirit had been quite spooky the day before when ridden by Troy in a different saddle and for part of the ride he was on his own. Today, back with me, regular saddle and a buddy (Summer), he was quite relaxed. All the riding over the weekend helped though; he was calm and I didn’t have to pull back on him when Summer led on the way home.
