Presenting a Horse For Sale

Today was the first time we ever "presented" a horse for sale.   (It doesn't count when you are a Tidal Treasures regular and end up buying the horse you've been riding!)  We helped Pam (who can't ride right now because of her fancy shenanigans as she was chasing Noel around the farm!) go through the process of demonstrating Summer.  It seemed to go well and whether or not there is an actual sale resulting from this afternoon's event, it was fun.  Summer acted exactly like "Summer"  I got on her a rode her after not having really ridden her in years and she was lovely.  We met two fairly new riders...a mom and daughter team, brimming with enthusiasm and I chuckled to myself as I thought of the adventures they have waiting for them in their future!  (Just ask Carrielee and Marie!) We met two coaches from another barn and got to chat and spend time with them...all in all not bad for a hot afternoon that would have been wasted on a siesta otherwise!  Back to work tomorrow after being immersed in horses and fishing for almost a week (groan/sigh).
