April 23, 2012
Yesterday was a very windy, rainy and grey day, and it was mine and Caddy's first solo ride on Mr. Leland's road. Mom and Dad walked behind for safety, but other than that me and Caddy were on our own. It was a perfect day for puddle hunting. She was very alert, but she was extremely good. She tried to turn a couple of times but we were able to get her going back in the right direction. We made it up a little bit past the tree line and on the way back she was excellent. I was nervous, but I just was humming to her and that calmed us both down. I was proud of her.
We like to ride everywhere from a nice trail walk along the beach to training and competing in a 50 mile endurance ride.
