Kindred Spirit is a 13 year old partbred Morgan. He has over 1000 ACTRA miles. Spirit placed 1st in the Maple Ridge LD, in 2011, to the immense pride of his owner, Lynn! In 2013, Spirit and Lynn came in 1st place at the Mud Run, 50 mile Endurance Ride, in Stanley, NS. Since then, Lynn has been kind enough to share this sweet boy with Shelley, who rides him most these days. Spirit and Shelley have done two 50 mile rides, one in October 2013, where he won Best Condition, and one in Fryeburg, Maine, in July 2014.He is a total reflection of his name - a sweet, kind horse with a nice sense of humour!
Not only is he an athlete, but he also helps to start new riders. From children, to slightly older "returning riders", to absolute "newbies", he has been kind to them all!
